This is not going to have the effect she expects, not remotely. Images of cops cracking skulls at the '68 Dem convention only helped Nixon. These losers simply don't have the public support to gain sympathy from this tactic.

First, I admittedly am ignorant of the Kent State tragedy having only a long forgotten memory from late 80's high school (which was staring in morbid fascination at the picture of the woman screaming in agony over the body of one of the dead) and read one historical account, James Michener's Kent State What Happened and Why.

But it is my recollection that Michener documented the same ideological provocations that contributed to violent escalation of events at Kent and ultimately four dead students.

Its the 60's approach all over again. For those old enough to remember, the same was happening all across campuses but I seem to remember it being in much larger numbers. Its nothing new and will eventually get shut down. Lots of folks were at least arrested back then if they actually made actions from their words. There were bombings, etc. Damn hippies are back.

It's a self-perpetuating employment scam of academia. Offer a subject in a field where the only employment available requires a graduate and/or terminal degree in that field, which is only good to teach that subject matter. Then you have to create the department in order to teach the subject. You hire faculty in that field to teach the subject, which then justifies your graduate program, which creates more faculty, etc. etc. etc. Total scam.

The family that owned the deli in the building where I worked were displaced Palestinians. Forced off their family farm that had been in family for generations with literally only the clothes on their backs. No love lost for Israeli settlers. Are part of minority of Palestinians who are Christian.
