I have never seen any sports figure universally unite the collective sports fans masses without breaking the law like Hernandez did. NO ONE I have ever come across liked him. Most hated. Some loathed. (count me in that category there). The dude sucked at his job and it was just known that he was also untouchable and sparked raging debates for years now on how to handle situations like this. And this proves the answer. You can't make them go away until they do it on their own.

I've seen bitter rivals bumps fists over their shared hatred over the dude. Maybe Angel was just the friends we made along the way.
