Hopefully, they are just holding the release of more evidence until Biden is locked into the nomination (post DNC convention). It's not like the Senate Democrats will vote to remove Biden no matter what he did.

They even created a new statute, then made it retroactive to hurt Trump and jammed through a $400 million dollar judgment, yet we have smoking gun transactions, testimony, etc., and can't get a damn thing done?

No one takes a stand, makes a decision, before testing which way the wind blows to get someone relected or elected.
No one has juevos to stck their neck out for the country anymore.

Republicans are weak. I get it to a certain degree. They are terrified of how the media will frame anything they do. Democrats are ruthless and play to win while the media runs cover for them.

Even if the House impeached Biden today, the Senate wouldn't even hold a trial. They'd simply dismiss it without so much as a hearing.

It didn't help that Comer et al couldn't define what they wanted investigated and even admitted they have yet to find enough evidence to warrant an investigation. They aren't lamenting that they have ample evidence and the DOJ just won't pick it up.
Biden likely had shady dealings (I would guess most life long congressman do or have) but people were convinced it was a slam dunk.

In a short time it will be moot bc Biden will lose and/or his ticker will likely give out. I would imagine Hunter is still an active target.

Plenty of Dems have or are being investigated for a variety of things. Tribalism may abound but the reality is that there is still nuance and gray.

I don't think anything that happens to Hunter has relevance to the U. S. Government's operations and policies. And thus no relevance to me. He is just some loser rich guy whose daddy is POTUS.

They are holding back for the election. When your side is ahead, why introduce a volatile and unpredictable variable that could generate sympathy or rally the opposition?

Save it for a break glass need. Otherwise, Biden is likely gone in a few months anyhow, which won't happen via an impeachment. The election will decide matters.

That's because we have plenty of other distractions to keep the spotlight off of our corrupt deep state that will do anything and everything to protect itself. If it would serve their best interests to toss Biden under the bus, I believe they would do that in a second. Since one of their own getting caught in the corruption hurts them, they'll circle the wagons, deflect, or distract. Whatever it takes to keep the racket going.

Right, but to apply pressure you need political power, and the Republicans don't have power. They barely control the house no thanks to the limp wristed members of the Republican House.

They don't control (even when in in full control of congress one could say) the DOJ or any other bureaucratic Agency.

The deep state is a real animal, its going to take a super majority of both houses.
