I literally forgot it was April 15th today until I read this post. Hope my accountant got my tax return in on time!

I can't recall the last time I had a refund. It's more like "you need to send $30k"

If Biden made more than you then you shouldn't be paying close to 40%. With standard deduction and filing single you should be at 27%.

No refund for me, not in a long time. Also, underpayment penalties are so damn lame. They still are taking everything they say that is due and now are grabbing even more.

Took two weeks from my accountant filing date to receiving refund date.

Yes, I got mine two weeks after I filed.

But Biden is going after the middle class now, so perhaps they are flagging more accounts for audit and slow rolling them.

I checked the website, and it is "under review."

Uh….not trying to derail, but you might need a new CPA, bro. Biden made $619,000 and had an effective tax rate of 23.7%. I don't know what you made, but I grossed $560,000 last year, and my effective tax rate was about 23%. That was just with a maxed out 401k, standard deduction, filing jointly. Nothing special.

If you make less than Biden and you're under the misimpression that your effective tax rate was almost 40%, you should fire your CPA tonight because he's basically ******ed
