Sigh. What could have been done on a national level. DeSantis gets things done.

Imagine what could have been done at the national level had Biden not been elected.

But, you voted for this.

Also, not sure the federal government needs to be involved in retail theft. It's a states issue

Yep. I voted for this.

We certainly could have had this as the GOP standard bearer this year. But everyone knew it would be a steep mountain to climb with Trump running.

Reagan learned lessons in 1968 and 1976 helping him emerge as the winner in 1980. DeSantis will come back for 2028 stronger for this experience on the national scene.

He probably lives in FL and voted for Ron DeSantis. That's the "this" being mentioned.

I seriously wonder if any of the Trumpers who condemned DeSantis as often as they could...

will have any regrets come November and another 5 years of (from today) Joe Biden demolishing the country.

This is so dumb. It's the "Trumpers" fault that Biden was elected. 74 million votes - actual votes, the most actual votes in history - and yet, it's their fault Biden was "elected".

Honestly, GeorgiAg can vote for Biden again all he wants. Unless the "election" is not already decided by fraud and corruption, as it was in 2020, Biden will win again.

Trump, DeSantis, Gandhi - nobody can expect to win against an opponent who can create enough fraudulent votes to win.

Unfortunately, folks in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina are the issue, those of us in Texas had no shot to vote for Desantis when it mattered.

Trump did nothing to stop the Mail in insanity and actually funded it with his Covid Bill. That's why they had so many votes. That's the reality. Trump got schooled on details every time with Congress. The reason they fear DeSantis is he is better at the details than the Democrats are, that's how he has continued to kick their asses in Florida on every issue.

I'll vote for Trump but this "He got 74 million votes" argument is the dumbest one. He opened Pandoras Box and let the Dems run wild because he didn't read the bill and he got suckered over and over again during Covid.

Yep we missed a huge opportunity. Rerunning a second stringer thats more interested in himself than the republic. But we had all these populist NPC's thinking "Well, Trump got cheated, so I'm gonna back Trump", feeeeeels.

And to think we all thought only libtards were eaten up with feeeeeeeeeeeeels.

I am so sick of this attitude that someone who actually knows what the hell they are doing would get the same results as someone who is proven to be incompetent...

No, your opponent doing bad things is no excuse for being bad at opposing them, we needed to learn that lessen before now, but the earliest we can learn it the better off we will be in the future. I am afraid that we may never learn it, though, and just piss away the country by making ****ty decisions that we justify as at least they are better than the even ****tier decisions by the left.

You could offer me all the gold in Fort Knox.

You could promise me East Tennessee heaven and put Mad-men era Christina Hendricks and 1950s-era Patricia Neal in my bed for eternity.

You could promise me the Vols will stomp a mud hole in the Cretan Tide for the next millennia on the 3rd Saturday in October.

Wave your wand, O Genie! It will do you no good.

There is nothing on this planet that would compel me to vote for that lowlife pedo Delaware trash traitor.

I am happy to be a Florida resident and very happy that DeSantis is governor. Nevertheless, retail theft isn't a federal crime and should not be. If DeSantis was President, I wouldn't want him to usurp authority from the states or encourage state and local governments to abdicate their responsibility to determine, prosecute, and punish theft.

Yep, they still hate DeSantis and are accusing him of running a "shadow campaign" to undermine Trump.

The latest thing is he is working with the Democrat to ensure they steal the election from Trump, just like he did in 2020 to steal the election from Laura Loomer.

You can find them all over the place saying they will never vote for him in the primary, or if he is the nominee. In fact, unless the nominee in 2028 is anointed by Trump, MAGA often says they will simply not vote.

DeSantis lives rent free in MAGA's head and likely will forever. He is their greatest enemy on Earth.
"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill
