I can't stand Maher. He is a disgusting, intellectually dishonest individual that has lead millions astray during his time on air. And while he does seem to be (finally!) coming around regarding Covid, the damage he did ridiculing those who said it came from a lab and Ivermectin was horse medicine can't be undone.

Maher just pandering to sharpen his tool for manipulation. Never trust the godless.

People who said the origin wasn't a wet market, but instead, a virus lab, didn't "guess".

People who said natural immunity was superior to the vax, didn't "guess".

They exercised common sense in the face of absurd hysteria and misinformation.

Too little to late. What he's saying was obvious 3 years ago and should have been called out 3 years ago.

And yes, too little. He never gets to WHY we had to go through all that BS. Who benefited from it? What was their motive? Who was right at the time?

He said Trump ignored it. Wrong. Trump fast tracked the vaccine. Maybe if more people ignored it though instead of acting insane like all those he rightfully mocks we would have all been better off.

Haven't seen his show in years but back when I would check it out rarely, I respected that he'd always have a conservative voice on the panel.

You have to think of this guy as a means to an end though. He's one of the only Democrats out there that will call out B.S.on the front end and/or on the backend like he's doing here. He has a platform and its primarily Democrats (although back to my earlier post I wonder if the mix has changed any).

So, when he discusses stupid **** his party has done then take the W because no one else in their party will do it. He's a beacon of occasional sanity amongst that foul lot.

I just hope he gets through to at least some people in his audience and they start thinking critically about what their masters tell them is truth.

Remember when the media, the left and actual people would shame us for saying the same things.

I remember them and I don't want to be around these people any more.

The frustrating thing about Covid is that pretty much everything we said in late March and early April was true but it was two years before they started to admit what we've always known. We know nothing today that we didn't already know in the very early days. The lies and misinformation from the government whose sole intent was to scare the masses into compliance is unforgivable. It's the most clear evidence we have that it's us vs the political establishment.

This thread reminds me that I need to follow up with my left-wing buddy about the redemption of Ivermectin by the CDC.

I can't think of any liberal entertainer/news type that was earlier to call out the Covid hysteria than Maher. Pretty sure his skeptic flag was getting flown on this sometime in the summer of 2020. I remember very early on he was defending Trump for calling it a Chinese virus. So he was already pushing back against people that didn't want the virus named for its place of orgin back in the Spring of 2020. I think he went along with his show getting shut down and all that stuff that everyone in Hollywood and Media went through. But when his show came back on in 2021 he came out swinging I'm pretty sure.

Regardless, it's irrelevant what we think. He has a platform with Democrats and you and I do not. I will simply appreciate when he calls out the idiocy and b.s of the Democrat party and hope that it gets through to his audience. There is nothing else we can do at this point other than hope that side comes to their senses.

So, I'll take the W however I can get it when it comes to those evil m'fers. We are in a culture war and largely losing it. Think of him as an intellectual saboteur inside enemy lines. Covid wasn't only to bring down Trump, although that was a big part of it. Covid enabled dems to accumulate massive amounts of power.

Although it was. I firmly believe that the coronavirus was released by the CCP in collusion with the Democrats, namely Pelosi/Obama/Schiff/Schumer, to get rid of Trump. The whole playbook was well orchestrated from the mail-in ballot fraud, to flooding the border with illegals in cooperation with the cartels. The coincidences are too great to think otherwise.

The events over the entire last four years have been planned and carried out by evil people, who no doubt have very dire plans for us. And the left just go along with it. We've all seen this before and it seems some things in history are bound to happen over and over again. I just didn't think I'd wake up and find out that I'm living and raising my family in 1930's Germany.

It's hard not to think this since our government was funding the research, lies incessantly about almost everything, and ran a coup against a sitting POTUS.

At a minimum, the Democrats almost immediately leveraged the issue for their gain. It's their classic "never let a crisis go to waste" philosophy. They will latch onto anything if it can get them more power to oppress humanity.
