The key is the government isn't doing it. But just like with social media companies censoring people on behalf of the government, we may be seeing the start of something similar with ESG scores for people. Want a loan? Better not post a conservative opinion somewhere.

After reading this yesterday, I logged into Fidelity where we keep a good chunk of our money to determine if I could see anything visible like I guess you can at Merril Lynch. (Can someone who uses Merril Lynch verify this?)

As of yet, I do not see anything at Fidelity on my account that addresses a personal ESG score. They do cover scores for funds as probably every platform does.

Edit: I'll be moving all of our money away from Fidelity if I do find something like this realizing I will probably be SOL. Vanguard rejected ESG as a concept not long ago so that might be our only option if this becomes commonplace.

The issue is… they have a philosophical agenda (to kill you off) that is above all else. If they can kill you off, they will take your wealth while putting their vision of the world in place.
