1. Have a GREAT Governor.
2. Democrats Cancel Primary in FL.
3. Republicans vote, Democrats stay home
4. Local Elections turn Republican
5. Profit

Looks like Florida is getting a darker hue of red today.

Florida and Texas, and maybe a few others, need to secede and form some type of coalition. Let everyone else rot.

Wow! Broward in 2022 was 60/40 Dem vs Rep in the US Senate race!

makes you wonder just how many shenanigans were going on in Miami before DeSantis.

Amazing turnaround for Florida. Ten years ago I figured it would be solid blue by now. Now the Dems are totally demoralized and defeated.

This is what happens with a good leader that knows how to plan, implement, and execute. I hope he's back in the national picture in 2028.

Take the numbers with a grain of salt for November. It won't look like this for the November elections. The Democrats canceled their presidential primary in FL, so there are not many die hard voters voting in local elections for Democrats.

Glad to see staff cleaned up the trash post earlier in the thread.

This is what happens with a fantastic governor. Glad I currently live here and desperately hope he gives it another shot in '28. And hope this same trend continues in Nov.

Maybe wishful thinking but as Democrats march on destroying their states and cities, at least some of the useful idiots might notice that prosperity, happiness and freedom still exists and can be achieved with conservative leaders. The press can only do so much in hiding successes, like in FL.

Yep, probably just wishful thinking.
I don't think you know me.

Just came across this article.

Quote:

State elections data through last month shows the GOP has just surpassed a major milestone. The party's 851,417-voter lead marks the biggest gap between the parties in Florida since Democrats dominated by more than 854,000 votes in 1988.....

Democrats say the divide between the parties is misleading, swelled by the shifting of almost 1 million voters last year from active to inactive status, under a new state law that threatens the eligibility of those who fail to cast a ballot during the previous two general elections.

Inactive voters can contact their county elections office to be restored to active status, or simply show up to vote in the next election....

There are more Republicans than Democrats now in 56 of the state's 67 counties.

Every Rep leader in every state needs to look at what FL Republicans did, take notes, and go to work implementing it in their home state.

Truth. Kemp in Georgia is now over 70 percent approval rating. 56 percent among Democrats.

Given that DeSantis won by nearly 20 points, I'd say Florida is solid red.

We have an issue in Texas, we are going in the opposite direction as Florida.

Republicans need to do whatever they are doing in Florida and to a lesser degree Ohio and start turning the state more red
