Exactly. It's dehumanizing white conservatives. We are already seeing it play out with black on white violence, lawfare against whites, discrimination against whites in corporate America, etc...

Rural and semi-rural, small, and smaller town, America poses absolutely no threat to anyone. And I am one of them. We just want to do our thing and otherwise be left alone.
The left has come to the realization that we feed them and provide their energy needs and that we are also armed to the teeth, independent (unlike those in urban areas), don't need them, and aint buying what they are selling. So they have to control us.
IMO, I think where the commies are pushing this is to eventually take away the farm and ranch land or at least place it under their control. Dehumanize and marginalize us to a serf class that keeps the food coming in and the lights on.

It hasn't done anything but get stronger in China. The same will happen here. The reasons it dies in the USSR was because we killed it off, bankrupting them. But China stole our secrets, used their people as manufacturing pawns, and bought off our politicians. Today, we follow their lead. And that is not going away. The blue states and blue cities already run as Marxists right now. That isn't changing until the people revolt and the leadership gives in. Obviously, places like China and Cuba, that never has happened.
