Any pregnancy involves SOME risk to the life/health of the pregnant woman, and it is certainly valid to question whether ANY such risk should be required in support of this type of pregnancy, but that Tweet definitely veered into hyperbole when saying that the abortion was necessary to "save her life."

Are we at the point where "pro life" means you bring a being into the world with actual brain tissue exposed? And all the other complications listed above?

There have been other cases where the pregnant woman has complications with the pregnancy. Women have gone into septic shock before they were able to have an abortion that would save their life when the baby they were carrying wasn't going to survive.

Are we willing to let grown women die in the name of preserving life?
