Why would you end up in prison for working with local officials?

Right now, it is viewed as a state gov. vs. federal gov. fight.

However, if Abbott said one day that he needed the men of Texas to show up at our borders with guns to defend our borders (north and south), I think you would see a quite large response.

Exactly. As I was told years ago, anyone wo makes a citizen arrest without his lawyer present to advise him is taking great chances of losing his liberty.

And, of course, if his lawyer is present, the lawyer is going to be advising him to stand back and let the police do their job.

Dang. Your life seems really hard.

Taking up arms, defending our border and killing people is a very hard line for many to cross. That's ultimately what it boils down to, gunning down a bunch of men, women and children to fortify the border. Deep down I don't think I can cross that line. Imminent threat to my family's safety, different story.

Tucker's solution would just get a bunch of good American Citizens thrown in jail. This is a state vs federal fight that should take place in the courts

Honestly, the majority of the States should join Texas in this fight against the FEDs and take it to the Supreme Court.. It is just ridiculous what is happening at the Southern border...The FEDs either need to enforce their laws or give the State's rights to defend their border...

Tucker has gone off the rails. He's becoming more and more of a clown.

Besides, if the state needed men to show up, there's need to be some sort of weed out/selection process. If you're fat/over weight and can't run at least half a mile without falling out, go away, you're a liability.
