Did our severe and prolonged overreaction to Covid kind of set this sh** spiral into motion? I know Biden is an abomination and hasn't helped a thing, but wouldn't it have been nice to have a real leader in 2020 who came to his senses by May or June of 2020 and realized that locking the vast majority of this country down for so long would create painful and irreversible damage?

I mean many of us were screaming this from the rooftops early into the pandemic. But they juiced everyone up with money and the stock market was solid and everyone was captivated/distracted by that.

How would Trump have magically stopped or reversed the inflation he is largely responsible for bc he blindly followed Fauci (and even gave him a medal later on)?

Agreed. I didn't really like him back in my college days because he came off like an ass.

But now I realize we need more asses like him willing to fight and say what needs to be said. No more compassionate conservative garbage. There is a war going on here.
