And now have arrested this guy that reports on it for witness tampering. Pretty wild case.

I guarantee you that small towns/counties cover up murder all the time and have for centuries.

Yep.

I grew up with the Hicks. Myles Porter, Aggie and Fannin County DA, can burn in hell. If there's a purge he's on my list, but many of my friends will get to him long before I.

Eh. The most likely explanation of this incident is that she accidentally knocked him down while they were both completely sloshed and the DA overcharged (though I don't know the specifics of the statute) her with murder. The defense has come up with a number of theories they believe the cops should have investigated and used Turtleboy as a megaphone to win public support. Turtleboy isn't a completely innocent actor in all of this and has certainly blurred the lines between reporter and witness intimidation. I haven't followed the latest twists and turns but my understanding is the initial charges against him were when his "interviewing" of witness was more harassing the witness to change his/her testimony.

That is an amazing read. It sure sounds to me like the officer was killed by friendly fire.

Don't read the linked story unless you want to hate our extremely corrupt federal government even more.

Yeah lots of justice to be meted out beyond who I mentioned.

Mike McClellan probably as much or more than anyone.

Good. Karma is real for him. He is getting the needed "attitude adjustment" he deserves.
