• AI accelerates its disruption of normal life and causes massive change and ethical issues. Especially since OpenAI has cast out the camp that wanted governors on the tech.

• Either the NCAA and/or Congress will start trying to "fix" the college football NIL disaster. I fully expect the latter to take this up because it's killing the sport. And they will likely make it worse.
• The EU ends up dealing with at least one country that attempts to leave which then causes chaos and much talk about the EU splitting up.
• De-globalization accelerates with near and on shoring to the Western Hemisphere. (This is good.)
• De-dollarization accelerates. (Not so good.)
• Xi continues his march to regress China back to a mostly dictator state with communism as its under layer (as all Communist states evolve to) and shoots himself in the foot by doing so; this also simultaneously increases the chances of conflict with China.
• Negotiations begin in Ukraine War.

My wish (not a prediction):

• We begin diverting most of our defense spending in Europe and foreign aid elsewhere to the Western Hemisphere where it rightfully belongs.

The Democratic candidate will not be a politician.

Massive bailout due to onset of liquidity crisis driven by sustained high interest rates and decreasing asset valuation

Newer and dumber social issues identified and sold as the new trend

SCOTUS grants cert in Trump prosecutions and sits on case without issuing ruling until after election. No trials held.

I don't know, predictions are just random guesses. But I feel confident that Democrats will continue to suck and Republicans will continue to suck.

Other than that safe bet, I guess I'll predict that Hamas will still have some presence around the world at the end of 2024.

-Biden will have a health concern causing him to drop out.

- Jan 6th gets further exposed causing backlash against the panel and fbi.

-Pride month will begin the splitting of the rainbow coalition.

-Immigration effects the election and receives renewed focus.

-Cowboys and Rangers both lose on the first round of playoffs.

-Astros start rebuilding halfway through the season and don't win the ALCS.

Wishful thinking: interest rates dip to sub6, the housing market has a modest 5-10% correction, Aggies beat sip, Trump runs with DeSantis as VP or vice-versa, ICE's are seen by society as the right mode of transportation for the next 50 years, Jeeps are no longer made, human loan officers are replaced with kiosks that can use your information to make lending decisions, because who wants a loan jockey with a 20 hour cert, and a background in used car sales to make financial decisions that can impact you.

I would lke to amend my prediction to add one of yours - Riot Season will kick off as we get closer to the election and will be coordinated by foreign enemies (who have not been droned yet for some reason), antifa, and the Democrats.

This will cause further migration away from urban cores for those who can afford to do so.
