Because like many here I was addicted to his trial and was looking into buying his book. Sometimes I replay the trial as background noise when I'm doing something. The reviews led me to those tweets and surprised me.

Here's an interview with his sister and Grambo from the trial. They are all against him because of his book. Apparently he really talked a lot crap about his mom and sisters and that's the beef.

The civil trial is next year and it's a becoming an issue because people that supported him in the murder trial are now against him. His sister told a story about his mom told him to come home that night and he ignored her and argued. Grambo said Kyle was begging Ryan Balch to take him across the street when he was walking around yelling medical. Then they got separated, then he got the call to go down to the other car lot where the chase happens and shooting. That can hurt in a civil trial.

Honestly he was/is still young and naive to get involved in that situation in the first place. Low test scores don't shock me at all. Didn't he try to get into A&M but couldn't?

None of this should be a surprise. Throw any kid in the situation he was in and he is going to be messed up in the head for a bit. I would have gone in hiding in hope of being forgotten about but he took his 15 minutes of fame and ran with it

I never really followed the story much. I knew he was doing what he thought was right, defended himself and was found innocent in a court of law.

As for him the person, from what his sister wrote, if true, sounds like someone I'd never want a child to become like. Maybe it's the fame and fortune that got to him, or maybe it's who he was bound to become, but regardless, he's still young and hopefully he'll get his life together.

Don't lawyers typically coach their people how to handle cross examinations, though? I may be wrong, but I thought that was what they (lawyers) did to help their clients win their cases.
