This is great but lets give credit where its due. Kemp of GA was the man that kick off the defiance to Washington. Granted DeSantis supported then engaged in the action.

DeSantis publicly apologized and pardoned everyone who was impacted by the very short lockdowns in Florida. He is also the ONLY one that has a Grand Jury currently hearing evidence against the Pharma companies and he passed sweeping Medical Freedom laws in Florida he wants to take national.

Trump still stands by my signature and he says he thinks he did an amazing job during Covid.

DeSantis supported vaccines. I remember it. In fact, didn't he get lambasted for getting the vaccine before other citizens? I'd be surprised if he really denies it (has no reason to). I recall it as a pragmatic way to stop the shutdown madness.

DeSantis is the champion of publicly fighting lockdowns and mask mandates. Led the country on this hands down. I'm pretty sure that is what the trailer is about.

The movie that needs to be made is about Fauci and the consequences of his actions.

I've seen them before and addressed them. DeSantis did do some brief lockdowns and he did work to distirbute the vax in the early days when we were being lied to about how they had been tested and were safe. He trusted Trump and he trusted the government. DeSantis admitted he was wrong and he has gone full bore against the Pharma companies, passed Medical Freedom Legislation, and is doing everything possible to make sure it doesn't happen again. Simply showing videos of how what he did in the early days of the Pandemic when he was still trusting the Federal Government actually makes the point more clear. He is the only one out there (besides Vivek, sort of) talking about holding these people accountable and he has backed it up.

DeSantis took bullets and arrows day after day standing up to the media and the Dems and even Trump. He especially took on Fauci. He even pulled his own Surgeon General out of a PC when he went off script and fired him and replaced him with Joe Lapado who will almost certainly be in a DeSantis admin along with Jay Bhattacharya.

Trump literally has not admitted any fault or said he would have done anything differently. He still wants credit for the vax and for people to say that he saved a 100 million lives. He ignores any questions about vax injuries.

It's one of the clearest distinctions policy wise between them.

BTW, the Loomer video is cut up big time. They have his voice from his intro speech because she wanted to make fun of the "DEE Santis". She had a question asked by one person and answered by him from completely different interviews.

Once again, DeSantis absolutely pushed the vax at the beginning when the Feds were lying about their safety. He is just one of the very, very few public officials that has pushed back and talked about vax injuries and fixing the problem. He wants the Pharma companies to pay bigtime and he wants Fauci in prison.

My now 9-year-old daughter in 3rd grade missed her entire kindergarten year because of Newsom's authoritarian and hypocritical approach here in California. She is behind academically, especially in reading, despite her home experience (i.e., time reading and focus on academics) being identical to my 18- and 16-year-old boys (taking into account individual factors) who are both high achieving and top in their respective classes.

Not only that but the school, and 1st and 2nd grade teachers, turned a blind eye to the impact of missing a whole year and falsely reported her performance, and many others, as "fine" and "where she should be" while advancing students through the curriculum, and grade levels, despite glaring academic deficiencies which were then finally being reported both state and nationwide.

Nothing pisses me off more than what want down over Covid with these corrupt, self-serving politicians and their imbecilic and equally authoritarian followers.

On a national level? DeSantis didn't have NY subway systems to deal with, nor AmTrak between certain cities including DC.

DeSantis needs to deemphasize Covid, IMO. Trump gave the Governors to decide on their own (not that he could have done otherwise without invoking the Insurrection Act).

In your opinion. I think he did as well as republican In office could've at the time. Of course, they would not have treated a Democrat like that but they would've got along with everything anyway.

But we can disagree on that.

I'm sure he would change some things if he could, he stated he would've gotten rid of Fauci earlier. But as you see to this day, with these bull**** court cases, they're only goal in life is to bring Trump down and they tried to make the pandemic about an election instead of caring about the American people. Little bits are coming out, all the things we've said from the beginning, but they're getting lost in the news because they're not amplifying them.

Trump is not a perfect person and he made a lot of mistakes, as all presidents do, and governors as well, DeSantis has made a few mistakes with Florida too. but Trymp was also going on the Intel he was given. And the times he did try to push back he was slammed for it.

No deflection here Annie, because I live in FL. I lived every day of COVID in FL. I saw DeSantis act with caution in the beginning when nothing was known about COVID and he had to err on the side of caution to keep his residents safe. I saw him follow the info put out by the Fed Gov (Trump's Government, btw). Then I saw him actually doing his own research and trusting his own experts instead of Trump's expert Faucci. And I saw him change his mind and apologize to us the residents and vow to protect us from Government overreach and tyranny brought on by fearmongering.

In short, I don't need to watch a Trumper's compilation because I lived it and I saw in person DeSantis kick Trump's ass when it comes to COVID.

Trump hardly ever wore a mask, got a lot of **** for that and tried to push back many times on things, but then was portrayed as he didn't care, was downplaying it and was trying to kill people.

Trump stood up to the media constantly during that time and even would go for hours at a time answering media questions about it. He was also going on the Intel he was given at the time, which presidents do. He was being lied to on many things. And he also pushed a lot of the decision to the states.

You don't have to agree with everything he's done or said. I certainly don't. But he was truly in a no-win situation at the time dealing with this in real time with advice that were lies. And he is proud of some of what he did, and I'm sure he would change some of what he did and he has a right to defend his positions. Whether you agree with it or not.

I get it. You don't want Trump is president and you want DeSantis. And that's fine but my point on this thread was to put videos of DeSantis and what he said, but everybody got all worked up about where one of the videos came from and threw tantrums.

I accept Trump for his good and bad and he's done some wrong things and some great things. Desantis has done some good things and bad things too. But to turn around now and act like he was always against this when he wasn't is pretty damn hypocritical.
