They appear connected, a suspect "in his 30s" is in custody. Anybody heard anything else about the suspect? I'm having trouble finding out anything. One thing is reasonably sure, an "assault weapon" was not likely used, or we'd have heard already.

I heard a bit about it might have been partly domestic or family violence from a guy with a history of violence, and some others just got in the path of a raging a-hole already on the run.

I found a social media profile for a guy in San Antonio with the same name of a similar age.

Trying to wrap my head around the San Antonio couple that was killed. From comments it sounds like the couple that were killed lived at the location but then one publication says the address was linked to the killer so that's how they actually found the couple.

I think the person I found and the one you found are likely the same person based on information I've seen in both.

I do agree that it's a common enough name though that I'm not going to post anything.

Shot 2 people in my neighborhood.
Also shot a cyclist. This is seemingly random.
Seemed like someone mad at the world, but apparently folded pretty quickly when cornered by cops.

So it wasn't a planned suicide by cop

He shot an AISD officer at a high school, which then went into lockdown. A lesson for those who think we shouldn't have cops in schools.

My Dad was at the AT&T store right there by the Alamo Drafthouse when all this went down. He said he never even knew anything was going down.

Can someone explain where the 6 deaths come from? They've said 2 in a home in Circle C (Austin) and 2 in a home in San Antonio, where have the other 2 been talked about? Just 3 wounded on top of the 4 killed.

Just heard that this dude was in jail and got bailed out by the Texas bail project.

He was in jail for assault on his own family. His parents our now dead.

This guy should've been in prison but now 6 people are dead. The leaders of whatever org bailed him out should be in prison
