Octopus, not a fan, and tried more than once, and almost universally chewy. Not my thing. Squid on the other hand is quite delish, cooked any number of ways. They are both cephalopods, but thats about all they have in common when it comes to cuisine.
Octopus is friggin delicious. Meme fail.

If octopus is not prepared properly then it's tough and chewy, yes.
You have to put it in a mixer with a hook or paddle for 5 minutes before stewing in red wine vinegar with bay leaves, peppercorns for a couple hours. Then, when you chargrill it's amazing.

For what it's worth, I was scheduling Thanksgiving cartoons and funny pictures to be sent to my sister every hour from 9 am to 11 pm tomorrow. There were a few political ones that I couldn't resist posting here while I had their location.

Meh, smaller squid is better. Less tough, more sea flavor versus having to soak it in other stuff and tenderize it to make it enjoyable.
But bo seafood is as enjoyable to me as the thanksgiving dinners I will get, and I like seafood.
