I was amazed that she was telling other people "Shame on You" while she was being escorted off the plane because of her behavior. She was not learning a thing from this experience and probably even became a worse person through her indignation on how she was treated.

I am sure that she is still the same miserable hag that she was then except that by now her husband probably has now hung himself in the garage.

Sadly almost half the people in this country fully support her and her behavior.

I've had times where, due to circumstances, I've had to spend hours with someone I don't see things eye-to-eye on, yet after chit-chatting to pass the time, we realized we had way more in common than we thought. We didn't change our stances, but we spent that time enjoying talking about all kinds of things, even political, that we did agree on. If she wasn't going to try to talk to him like anyone else instead of trying to preach her beliefs to him, then she should've done what most of us on planes do - tune everyone else out and fly in silence.

In a way, cell phones everywhere and social media do have some benefit in a case like this. Fear of being the butt of a video like this is certainly enough to convince me to keep my yap shut in public regardless of how I feel about something.

I have to agree we often have more in common than we realize. We're all human beings. Some people can't help but obsess over the distinguishing differences though, because they derive their sense of self worth from the sanctimony of being presumptively better than others who believe differently. These types aren't so common but they are dedicated to cause because ultimately their cause is floating their own ego. That makes this type of cordial exchange more difficult.

Am I wrong in saying that the large majority of commercial pilots are pro individual freedom? I'd imagine as soon as the captain heard the circumstances that the decision was a simple one.

I agree with sentence one. But the rest described about 30% of TA posters that cannot 1) admit when they are wrong 2) wont own up to being frauds or liars, or 3) cannot get off thier high horse to have a casual discussion and actually listen to another point of view.
