No videos of the actual round ups and doesn't look like the hobos have come back. Where are the 1000s of unsheltered folks?

Kind of makes you wonder.......Did someone go full Hitler and "take care" of the problem?

Can pretty much guarantee the homeless were not dumped across the Golden Gate Bridge in Sausalito.

Those high-tones over there designated years ago their community is a nuke-free zone.

Pretty sure it is a homeless/hobo-free zone too.

I live in SF. They just booted them from a few blocks and I've seen more in my neighborhood. They just dispersed through the city a bit and I'm sure will be back to their stomping grounds shortly. Typically the media overstates this; they're really bad in a subset of downtown/tenderloin but you don't see any homeless in Golden Gate Park or the presidio park which is where I prefer to spend more time anyways. It's really bad in tenderloin but aside from that isn't much worse than Austin.

ETA: I'm pretty sure they dispersed a few blocks out like a other poster said. The guy in the video may just be ginning up some excitement for clicks/views/subs.

Not to derail, but did Austin move a bunch of the homeless (or disappear them) too?

I was in NW Austin and a couple of overpasses that were popular last year look like they had just recently been cleaned up.

Only saw one homeless person setup. There was a guy in a pickup parked on the curb talking with him. Then they loaded up a sewing machine and microwave from the homeless guys fort.

Several years ago I was in San Diego for a meeting in January, and there were homeless all over the place, who were not there the last time I was in San Diego in the spring.

A local told me that the state bussed the homeless from San Francisco down every winter.

Slightly related...was in Downtown LA for a business conference in May 2022 and it was straight out of Mad Max.

Yeah its the media. Not the people that live there, or the visitors, police, and others complaining about the rampant homelessness for years, just the "media".
