Why do we let these freaks anywhere near our schools?

Fry and Acevedo "both made statements during and after the search to include both stating that 'they have to do this or they will starve,' " according to the report.

Any administrator that allowed individuals that look like that anywhere near a classroom should be fired and never allowed to work in education again.

How is this a good use of police resources? Forget anyone being harmed, was anyone even being slightly bothered by these people going online and arranging to do sex stuff for money, with people who wanted to pay money for sex stuff? Did anyone complain? If not, how many actual complaints from citizens went ignored by the police while one of them went online and made these arrangements, showed up and play acted through a series of interactions, and then cuffed these people to drive them downtown and book them?

I actually agree. But where is the consistency on your part as it relates to those charged on January 6th when many weren't even in/near the Capitol or were peacefully allowed in?

How about spend more on food and less on hair dye and fancy glasses. Just maybe you won't "starve" and be forced to ho yourself out.

This is how human trafficking, sexual slaves and underage trafficker investigations begin. Cop probably noticed a new poster on the website, a younger aged person and willingness to have the encounter at a location of their choosing instead of going to the John.

I am not so sure that Ezra is a she.

We let these freaks near our schools because:

Non-judgementalism has become the highest virtue

Morality is subjective

Traditional values have been deemed oppressive

And any limitation on self-indulgent behavior is experienced as an infringement of basic rights, even absurdly as "violence."

Whereas in the not to distant past we would recognize external appearances as a reflection of internal self and say, without worry of condemnation and reprisal, that nobody who looks as demented and ridiculous will work with children.

If it keeps them from ever being around kids again, it was worth it.

I think people who submitted their stuff showing they met the minimum requirements got their name put in a hopper and occasionally it would be their turn to get a call inviting them to get paid to show kids a VHS of Amadeus on one of those A/V carts with a TV ratchet-strapped to it.

YMMV depending on the district.

Many, many districts are faced with no coverage of the room or taking chances on people that seem strange.

That said- I'd take an empty classroom over taking those freaks in my building.

Many years ago, the same low bar was the case in our town. They needed a warm body and about any warm body would do.

In the past 10 or 15 years, they are a little more selective, but I still know of a couple of people who substituted that I'd never have let on my campus. Not because there were prostitutes or druggies but because I knew enough about them that I didn't approve of them. Of course, they were not teaching really, still just a warm body filling in for the day.
