I think his point was about disinformation, in general, leading to a nebulous portrayal of reality and different sets of "facts". This is highly dangerous and is impacting our entire ability to interact with those who agree and disagree with us.
Making COVID vaccines a requirement will save tens of thousands of lives, maybe many more than that.
