DeSantis is my first choice for R nominee (actually Youngkin might be tied if he enters). But I like Vivek to a point. He's clearly smart, very well-spoken and dynamic with his communication skills, and a lot of his ideas and messaging, albeit some of it is grandiose and not all of it is likely possible, resonates with MAGA and the people who want real fundamental change in DC regarding corrupt politicians and permanent government bureaucrats and not just incremental changes. He's been under constant attack from DeSantis crowd and now more and more attacks from every direction as Vivek takes aim at Nikki Haley and others. For a while, he did a good job defending himself directly and he's been everywhere - going on every possible show and podcast imaginable to get himself out there and defend the attacks against him - a lot of them were on a sentence in one of his books or something he said or did in college. I don't think Vivek's messaging about Ukraine or China has been wrong, either. But right now, with the middle east going hot again, war mongers are fired up and Vivek's attempts to slam people like Haley by having a different opinion on war is going to bite him. Hannity was a dick head to him last night though. Something he said about Azerbaijan being used against him after Hamas and Hezbollah are activated and then not letting him finish answering any questions is really ****ty. Reminds me of that Kilmeade interview the other day where the guy wouldn't let Burchett, a US congressman, answer any questions about McCarthy's failures. Hannity, Kilmeade, etc. are just covering for their friends and trying to do their part to influence politics. Corporate media is trash- on both sides.
