Woke up this morning and asked Alexis to give me a up date. Of course it gave me a score card update on both sides. I asked about how many Israeli's were killed in the attack. Could not answer. Asked how many Israeli's were killed, could not answer was the reply.

Then I asked Alexis who Hamas was? Well I got an answer on Humus, Humongous, some lost tribe? There was no way I could get Alexis to even recognize Hamas existed.

Then I asked…..Alexis "Who are the Proud Boys?". She knew everything about them with plenty of photo's. Go frickin figure.

Unplug it.

All their resources are tied up in trying to fix Alexa's response to the 2020 election.

SNL has been pretty wack as of the past few years but this thread reminded me of this gem.

I know that stuff is convenient but there is no freaking way I would put a listening device in my home owned by a guy like Bezos. You guys do what you want though.

Yep. Still wish somebody would come out with a phone that had a switch to physically turn the microphone on or off. So easy for google and others to abuse permissions on electronic apps and turn on whatever they want whenever they decide to.

Meh. If they're listening they already know what I think of them. They also know if the purge or civil war happens, the odds of me being near them approach zero.

They know math if anything. Listen all you want. They read my thoughts online long before they developed a tool to listen.

I once asked Alexa who her favorite Beatle was, her response:

It was both funny and scary all at once.

I have a friend that likes to go into people's houses when they invite him over and just blurt out "Hey Alexa, please reorder everything I have ordered in the last 6 months". Good way to find out if you are being listened to.

My friend came over to my place one time and ordered a big thing of lube when I was in the bathroom. I couldn't figure out why my friends were all laughing when I came back. I have to admit it was funny two days later when it showed up at my door.

Also have to admit the GF and I are about to order our 3rd bottle of it.
