Some underhanded **** right there if true. Trying everything they can to catch up to Verizon in pricing the greedy *******s.

Be sure to opt out if you are with them.

This is BS. Thanks for flagging. I recently looked at their new plans as I do from time to time, and no matter how you slice it they don't work out for our family. Stuff I don't need/want for $10-15 more power month.

It should be an out in, not opt out. Poor form...

We're on a grandfathered plan with Verizon. 15 years old. I'm wondering how much longer they'll let us keep it, because it's pretty good.

Grandfathered doesn't mean what it used too! Not to the 12thMan and season ticket holders. Not to the SEC and certainly not to cell phone plans!

Thanks for the heads up. I have 6 lines with unlimited everything and pay $134/mo, thanks to their military discount….

Thanks, this is good to know. Sounds like they will send a letter first so you will have a chance to call and stop the plan from switching?

I'm on a 12-year-old plan with Verizon, and it seems like every year they try and make me go through hoops to stay on the same plan.

When I spoke to the representative, I told her it seemed like they were trying to find a way for me to not qualify for the plan I've been on and she said that's exactly what they were doing. I thanked her for her honesty, and she said it was her last day so she had no problem telling customers the truth.

Went to T-Mobile to try to get on a magenta plan not that long ago and they told me they weren't allowed to sell it to me in the store anymore. Figured the writing was on the wall. They are trying to push everybody onto their new crap.

So far, we've only had the problem when getting a new phone. If we wanted the $200 off, we were going have to switch plans.

Nope

Otherwise, they don't bother us. Jokes on them too, because we'll keep our phones until they no longer function physically or software. Whichever comes first. So, we're good for another 3 years probably.
