If I didn't have to endure 4 more years of Democrat rule, I would be so looking forward to Trump's inevitable lopsided defeat.

This board has a very 2016 feel to it.

I've not watched one debate. Looking forward to voting for Trump in primary and general. I don't even think he should debate Biden. He has all the free press he needs.

Just needs to return to Twitter, and keep doing what he's doing

just go ahead and look forward to it. that is the only positive part of the inevitable train crash.

It would be a positive until the inevitable "election was stolen, proven warrior, blah blah blah" nonsense that would start within 12 months of the 2024 election.

82 year old Trump will be back to run again in 2028 and it'll be the most important election ever and we'll HAVE to vote for him because this time will be different.

We are on a hamster wheel and we can't get off.

Republican debates are a useless waste of time and money. What more do you need to hear from this crowd? The enemy is the graft and corruption of joe Biden and the DNC.

How do Trumpers keep defending him?
I love how his truth social posts have to be put on X so people, other than his sycophants, actually see it.

And this is why we lose the election...

this is why when I bet money on college football I bet against my own team and for the opponent.

that way, if my team loses, at least I will be getting some money back.

and if my team wins, it was worth the money.

either way, I win.

Hindsight is 2020 and you lost, Trump.

It's time to cancel your candidacy to keep the GOP from another historic anti-Trump turnout loss.

Trump is wearing on me. I will certainly vote for him.
What i find silly is all this mocking of Trump about complaining the election was stolen.
The last three democratic presidential losers. Hillary, Gore and Kerry all made this complaint.

Trump believes he is owed both the nomination and the Presidency.

He is owed neither.

If he had his way, there would be no election, primary or general.

Unless Republicans grow a pair and with a spine and begin fighting back, then we are looking at President Newsome and VP Big Gretch.

I fear that if Sleepy Joe expires in his sleep before the 2024 election, then China will make their move.

If DeSantis said he's had enough of these goofy debates, it'd be pretty cool. But Trump beat him to the punch again.

Aren't american cable news political debates a clown-show? silly people want to watch Niki haley shriek at trump and Chris Christie write his name on a card, vote him off the island. a cosmetic surgery victim from univision has a tough question, but her accent is difficult for the guy from south dakota who doesn't have a prayer.

I don't think it's because Trump is worried about the RNC spending money on a debate.

how much does booking a conference room cost?!

it's because Trump knows the more times he is shown as the coward he is by DUCKING the debates, the worse it is for him politically.

and he knows the more the American public see DeSantis (and to a lesser extent Haley), the more they will be open to not supporting Trump any longer.

Trump would be 83 heading into the 2028 election and morbidly obese

I don't think we have to worry about that anymore.

Here's Newt last week saying the same thing about the debates. Sooner or later all Republicans will have to make a basic decision. Which is better... another four years of Biden or 4 years of Trump. It is a pretty easy call in my view. And a non-vote or a vote for a third party candidate is a vote for Biden.

Oh, the irony of Trump supporters decrying a clown show.

All Trump wants is their $$$ so he can use it to pay his legal bills.

He isn't going to campaign; hoping the RNC will do it for him, but without the big donors, who have basically all told Trump to get lost, there will be no money for anything, much less helping Trump.

This is a pretty bad argument....that not voting for either is some how a vote for Biden. Its basically trying to shame everyone who doesn't vote for Trump, even if they generally vote a straight R ticket. Taking away a vote from Trump doesn't equal giving one to Biden. Thats nuts.

I would like to see a Trump vs. DeSantis debate, but that probably won't happen.

I have zero interest in hearing Christie, Haley, Pence, and most of the others talk for 2 hours about Trump instead of the real problems facing our country.

This is why I think it was smart for DeSantis to debate Newsom, that will be a lot more interesting than hearing from the rest of the R candidates who really have no business running for President. There you'll see a direct contrast in policy.

It does when Biden is the incumbent. Maybe people like you are fine with the status quo as long as it keeps Trump out, but I think that's more 'nuts' than a vote for Trump. Biden's policies are far worse and need to be voted out.

Trump is acting a lot like Hillary in '16 when she was visibly upset that anyone else would dare go up against her for the nomination. She felt she was owed not only the nomination but the White House and many in her own party let her know on election day that she wasn't owed anything and that she hadn't earned their vote.

Yes. narcissists are inevitable in presidential runs, and indispensable when it comes to getting things done.
80% of your (our) heroes are probably narcissists. But some can fake humility.
Trump doesn't pretend he's not one.
