That commie rag Austin American Statesman is reporting that A&M ranks as the 20th most conservative public college in the nation. Number 1 in Texas. 80% of the "grade" was from current , or recent, students political leanings the survey reports.

Granted, with 70k students there are bound to be lunatics, but the current students that I have dealt with are all very conservative and well grounded.

Well, they are a private school that anchors Highland Park so that isn't surprising. And they get daddy's little girl from wealthy families all over the country.

I just find it hard to believe that there are 19 other public schools more conservative than us.

As long as A&M has the reputation of being conservative, it will continue to attract like minded kids and repel most of the rest. Its nothing like it used to be, but I'll take it.
