I truly thought the good people at the FBI would stand up to being used by tyrants against the free people of this land.

But, it seems it's the same as it ever was.

Context: Nathan Hughes raid.

They report to the Hoover building. The name is their legacy. They are and always have been a federal gestapo. You should read the book G-Men.

Nope. American KGB.

Always has been. J Edgar Hoover, if he lived to be as old as Moses, woulda made it even worse.

I was thinking same thing. Did obama purge of all patriots and replace with communist goons?
Sound of Music movie comes to mind how Rolf bought in to the message and turned on his countrymen.
We were warned.
Reminds me of all thr post Viet Nam Lt Calley and Cpt Medina training we got about doing right thing despite orders. Throw all that out the window now, eh Feds?

At least Hoover was not "loyal" to any administration for he held both political parties in contempt and had dirt on both, that is why he served so long as FBI director.

In other words, the FBI had free reign in investigating corruption, no matter if it was a Republican or Democrat.

Now, the Democrats own the FBI, which is much worse.

Here we see MLK thinking about the FBI

I remember when the 99% of "good agents" were going to not let Hillary get away with her illegal activities. Given that never happened, and the events of the FBI orchestrated coup attempt in 2016, and further weaponization by the bolshevik Garland, there is no reason to believe that there are any more than just a handful of "good agents" in that rotten organization. Tow truck drivers and slip and fall lawyers have more integrity than anyone in the FBI.

The "good people" only care about the pension and health benefits.

The FBI and DoJ alike are utterly corrupt. Here is the DoJ citing MLK Jr.'s words as a reason to go soft on a violent rioter who killed someone after looting their store:

Quote:

Given that Lee had a long criminal history, you would think a harsh sentence would be in order. Instead, the DOJ turned into his biggest advocate.

Here's what the government's sentencing memo to the judge stated.
Quote:

Mr. Lee credibly states that he was in the streets to protest unlawful police violence against black men, and there is no basis to disbelieve this statement. Mr. Lee, appropriately, acknowledges that he "could have demonstrated in a different way," but that he was "caught up in the fury of the mob after living as a black man watching his peers suffer at the hands of police." As anyone watching the news world-wide knows, many other people in Minnesota were similarly caught up.

There appear to have been many people in those days looking only to exploit the chaos and disorder in the interest of personal gain or random violence. There appear also to have been many people who felt angry, frustrated, and disenfranchised, and who were attempting, in many cases in an unacceptably reckless and dangerous manner, to give voice to those feelings. Mr. Lee appears to be squarely in this latter category. And even the great American advocate for non-violence and social justice, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., stated in an interview with CBS's Mike Wallace in 1966 that "we've got to see that a riot is the language of the unheard."

They are, combined, nothing more than the partisan American gestapo stasi. They must be abolished (FBI) and wholly disassembled/replaced (DoJ).

Out of the many, many disappointing things that have come out of the Trump era, covid, BLM riots, lockdowns, etc has been the behavior of the FBI. I guess I was nave but I always thought the FBI was for the most part on the side of good and especially rank and file agents were doing God's work.
I've lost almost all the respect I have for them as an organization and even on the individual level.

Same. If I met someone socially (church/school/private social circles etc) who happened to work for the FBI today I would just assume for several years until proven otherwise they are lying, dishonest frauds, and would never say anything remotely political around them.

They won't be at church, unless assigned to spy on the preacher, or call in their IRS criminal buddies to check people they don't like to see if their tithe is correct.

Another tale of the DoJ and a (Clinton) judge abusing pro-lifers in court.

I think the difference was that although the tactics may have been questionable at times, the FBI mostly acted in the overall interests of the country - going after our enemies foreign and domestic. This was pretty uniform across the decades regardless if an R or a D was in the WH. Same with the other alphabet agencies.

This began to change radically in the 90's under Clinton. Was slowed in the 2000's under Bush. Went on steroids under Obama and was completely weaponized against the right before Trump took office.

Largely it's been weaponized in the interests of the CCP, imho.
