It just sounds like speculation that he could be fake. Which I can empathize with.

He rightly addresses the elephantdonky hybrid in the room, which is the unelected bureaucracy is controlling this country to its detriment. Something that you basically have to be an outsider of the political machine to realistically address.

We need an outsider to fix Washington, and ideally one that doesn't have Trumps baggage. Vivek seems to check a lot of those boxes.

We tried and outsider last time with 1000x more experience than Vivek and he got completely pwned by the Swamp. If you listen to Vivek when he talks about actual details of how he will actually accomplish much of which he promises there are holes all over it. The big changes require Congress and many of the smaller changes will get legal challenges. It would be ok if he simply had some great ideas but recognized he needs to build a great team of experienced people but he is simply too arrogant for that. He thinks he can just do it all himself.

Of course he has this weird relationship of being engaged in politics heavily in some ways from a young age (appearing on a town hall to ask ironically Sharpton a question 20 years ago, donations to candidates including Dems, etc) but is "Unaffiliated" and didn't vote until 2020 (though he "forgot" he voted once apparently which was weird). Now he is claiming he has deeper knowledge of the law and policy than anyone.

He made all his money in Pharma investing. His talent is getting people to invest in his companies and products but not in actually succeeding in developing drugs. Nothing wrong with that except it does show he is a salesman who understands finance but he isn't a great manager or creator.

Vivek has always been a fraud

Personally I like a lot about Vivek. He is clearly highly intelligent and a great communicator. He does a great job in interviews. There are just way too many concerns and way too little life (much less any political) experience to consider him a serious Presidential candidate.

I don't know that I would vote for him, but I like what he says and he is a polished debater. Kinda like Dinesh D'Souza

I'm 48 and a things stand now, I'm voting for Vivek. I love what he has to say. I love his plans. At least it's something new and drastic - which is what we need. He presents a vision that I agree with.

As far his past… some of the strongest Christians I know were former atheists. Sometimes it take people time to think three issues and find their convictions

if Vivek keeps being tied to facts, I think it works out for him, whether as the next president or elsewhere. He's in consideration for my vote.

Hard to not vote trump after witnessing the powers that be go the hardest at him as I've ever witnessed them go to take a man down though.

The way they are going after Elon now though, and Jan 6th etc etc

There's probably an exception to that, but I can't think of a current (R) candidate that would cause me to vote for a Dem instead.

I prefer a strong conservative who can get elected and implement the agenda.

But I'll take a lightweight (R) over a marxist Dem any day if that's the only practical option.

Please expand on your thoughts. "Trump didn't have a record and I think he did well, so I'll trust all future candidates at their word" isn't a position I can get behind.

Vivek's lack of a record in any public office is a perfectly legitimate reason to doubt - or distrust - whether he is ready to hold the highest public office. Calling that is a "knee jerk" position is pretty obtuse.
