And why do IRS agents need a gun again? The only weapons these people need are a laptop and access to a printer. If they're going to pretend to be an armed shadow army then they should just dress them out in Star Wars stormtrooper costumes.

Republicans in the House promised to defund this dangerous nonsense.

I know 2023 was already a done deal when this Congress took office, but going forward they must refuse to agree to any spending bill or budget agreement going forward that funds one penny of this travesty.

Republicans can get nothing done in the Senate with having no to slim majorities. House is the same way with slim majorities.
They need to have at least a 1/3 majority to make any real difference. That was supposed to have happened in the "red wave". It didn't because most voters in the country are idiots.
