I don't like emotionalism....... but I cried.

I work at a frigging computer terminal all day long.... get paid for it.... and it's the working class man that is getting screwed the worst.

Most among the WFH / Big Tech people I am peers with HATE the working class, their values, their religion, their desire to not be regulated into oblivion.

In my comfort.... may God cause me to always love and appreciate the working man that makes my cushy life possible.

This is, yet again, where free up counties to petition to join adjoining states would be so beneficial to locals. Much of VA would love to dump the DC crowd. Their WV brethren got free that way - might as well join them better late than never!

I'm not against your idea, but what if my county is separated from the neighboring state by a county that doesn't want to defect? Alternatively, if a county defects, are all of its neighbors now eligible? Can you theoretically wind up with a trail of counties stretching from the panhandle of Texas to eastern Washington?

Yet West Virginia has been hard core democrat until recently, has been for decades and many live off the government.

I have no sympathy for WV. They voted for the left and the left killed their coal.

Hell, TN elected Al Gore.
