2 Facts: We only hear about this fight for ONE reason. This fight would of happened no matter who the security guard was. Those Pontoon dudes were entitled and rude people all along.

The white guys attacked the Black dude for indeed doing his job. Not sure the guys who joined in then subsequently attacked the ladies are completely innocent, but the boat worker / security guard was absolute bum rushed prompting the initial scuffle. The shirtless white dudes deserve to catch some charges.

Now, why the reverse situations do not always result in charges, that is a more difficult answer.

I live in the far Southeast corner of Alabama.

There is VERY LITTLE racial tension or noticeable issues here.

The primary Water/SUD supervisor and field agent is black. Everyone in our little community loves him.

There is a waiting list for general contracting through an old black guy named Ed who is BELOVED in our community. He is 70 years old and is like the community grandfather and still works his ass off in 100+ Heat Index days with a smile. If we were incorporated, the guy would be our mayor.

The black state trooper from ALEA that patrols our rural area is BELOVED by our community.

We have several military families who are black in our area. We all get along.

The narrative about Alabama being a unrepentant and permanently racist state are NOT TRUE.

The boat that was trying to dock was a riverfront dinner boat named the Harriot II. From what I could tell, it has exclusive rights to dock there. I don't think any other boats were allowed to in the first place. The security guy told them not to leave the boat there...they left it anyway so he took the ropes off the cleat and started moving the boat, which is why they decided to attack him I guess.






From what I can tell from the angles in the video, the pontoon boat was parked right about here. But it may have been closer because when the video I saw started it looked like the boat was stopped and was being tied off when the first guy came over to yell at him.

• you could tell the crowd on the boat was itching for a fight, and the visual of the security guard getting attacked set them off
• women trying to break up a fight involving men will fail 100% of the time
• that doesn't justify men cheapshotting women with punches and chairs
• cheapshots ,blind side punches, and ganging up on someone are generally the move of a coward, and there were plenty of drunken, feral cowards to go around

Had the local authorities not intervened, Biden DOJ would have arrested and indicted them in civil rights violation charges.

I'm not saying there were a lot of great choices here and am not defending the drunks. I likely would have called the police before trying to board their pontoon and move it.

They didnt board the boat. They untied the boat from the cleets and used the ropes to pull it forward. It looks like the pontoon had a cover on it.

Who still gets in fights? It's truly amazing to me.

Too bad the city leaders aren't as concerned about the black-on-black crime in that city as they are about this incident.

Actually I'd bet he does have the authority to remove the cleat of boats illegally parked in a spot that they have a license for. He has commercial liability for everyone on his ship and he needs to get them off safely.

You don't just call the police and throw your legs over the railing for 2 hours while you wait for them to arrive.

There's been quite a bit coming out about those that would appear they are indeed racist. Also on some of the videos you can hear them yelling racist slurs. Most objective people can clearly tell they were behaving in racist fashion just never thought they be beaten to a pulp for the entire world to see and become huge laughing stocks.
