My recollection... Biden had already committed to a female VP pick. Following the George Floyd fiasco the push came for it to be someone of color.

Well, he certainly wasn't going to pick Tulsi! He was stuck with a bad choice all around, boxed in by his pledge to only pick based on gender and race as opposed to any real qualification.

Had a Superitendent find the dumbest guy, but who was loyal to him to run for school board, and all his peeps voted him to school board. He then became a respected person of the community. Folks would call him and he in turn would call the school wanting kid who got caught stealing or with dope to be excused of consequences.
