My kids built a rocket out of a refrigerator cardboard box and used it to travel to Oklahoma. Some of the funniest home videos we have of our kids.

It has not always been woke. Unless you're one of those idiots that thinks civil rights is "woke". My childhood was in the wheelhouse of peak Sesame Street. Mid to late 70's. It never preached to me about gay rights, men being women and vice versa, climate change, etc. Thats's woke.

Yeah, that was woke (progressive) at the time. You didn't notice because you were a kid, but reactionary chodes 40 years removed from their own childhoods at that time would have been griping about having it shoved in their faces. And it wasn't accidental, it didn't just happen to be that way, they made very calculated and deliberate choices because they wanted to show you different kinds of people and tell you those kinds of people were just as real and just as deserving of a place in our society as you.
