Yea but prison sentences in Peru would make Soros smile. Life means 35 years. Murder is max of 20. Rape is like 10 years. Most serve only a fraction.

In general, I am not a fan of vigilante justice...... but there is so very little enforcement of the law in Peru that people are left with no other recourse but to demonstrate to rapists like this punk that they will pay.

The men that chased him down and caught him are bad asses. I would be each of them cervezas in celebration.

Therefore, decriminalize a, b, and c, don't prosecute x, y, or z, reduce sentences for this, eliminate cash bail for that - because all of these things are racist! It won't encourage and incentivize crimes or violence, it will promote "equity"!! Yay. Everyone wins!!! ...but I think it's deeper than that. They want chaos and anarchy. They are intentionally encouraging and incentivizing crime and violence. This tail wags the dog towards the notion that local policing doesn't work. The socialist party and the talking heads in their pravda media arm will talk more and more openly about how we need to "reimagine policing" which will more and more progressively lead to nationalizing/federalizing all policing. This is how Marxism takes over. FBI-types who more typically go after conservatives for praying at abortion clinics or speaking out at school board meetings replace the local police beat and power in the one-party system is really exerted. The political elite don't give a single solitary F about the safety of the lowly plebes they rule over; just their political power grabs and the stranglehold they have over the proletariat.

That was why I was joking around in the post above yours. We need true law, not the absence of law, and certainly not the banana republic version of law we have now. Until then, I'm fine with letting the street decide. But let's not lose sight of what a properly functioning society really needs.
