Can't go to far back. When he was young in the senate he was being mentored by a Klansman Democrat Senator.

Go a little further and he was a racist putting his black VP on a bus.

Then a little further he was for locking up all the super predators.

If I had to deal with Joe Biden, I guess I'd prefer the younger version that was tougher on crime, wasn't as much of a puppet of the extreme left, and wasn't taken seriously by people who still cared about lying and plagiarizing.

It's purely about winning the next election, and the optics of his age since he in the incumbent, and not about any particular attachment to Biden as a candidate.

They'd replace him if they thought someone else would do better.

You can't get them to say it but they're hoping for a debilitating stroke or something so they can get their Kamala Vs Newsome primary.

I think his age is why anyone not named Trump thumps biden.

Trump is only a couple of years younger than biden. Trump is old as hell too. It doesn't help legit attacks on biden's age.

But DeSantis and even Haley or Scott are so much younger compared to biden, his age becomes a huge issue.
