The consensus was:
-COVID came from wet market
-vaxx stopped the spread
-natural immunity was not sufficient
-Trump colluded with Russia
-Hunter laptop was Russian disinformation
....and now

These medical associations should cease to exist. They are primarily comprised of physicians that couldn't hack it in private practice due to an absence of surgical, social, or intellectual skill. Most private physicians do not support the opinions of the associations; however, are forced to contribute thousands to them annually to maintain our licenses, board certifications, etc. It is a racket which would have made the mob envious.

My pediatrician brother is a member of the AAP (as much as is required to maintain board certification) and the ACP (a sane, rational collection of pediatricians).

So "normal" medical associations exist. You'll know you've found one when you see things like the SPLC, Google search, and Wikipedia refer to them as a "hate group."

This is exactly why I am no longer a member of Texas Medical Association. So many of these organization are lead by "academic physicians". They don't have to worry about the day to day finances of running a practice. They are government employees. This gives them plenty of time to run these organizations, where the average working Doc can't devote that time without severe financial consequences.
