So it's time for corporations to begin their annual virtue signaling.
My employer has changed their logo colors in Linkedin and added garish gay colors to it. Hurray!

I think the next time we get into this mode is in Feb where everyone will pretend to love African American culture.

It's actually the Sacred Heart of Jesus Month. So let's ignore that other nonsense

From LinkedIn, what is IA+ in LGBTQIA+?

Quote:

Happy Pride Month! We're taking the time to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community's freedom to be themselves and recognize their accomplishments. Pride Month gives us all an opportunity to be active allies and support the community's ongoing pursuit of equality.

Worst part of this month is having to scroll past the 52 LGBTQ++++ programming on all of the streaming services. They put that crap at the top and make you scroll past it to get to the stuff you actually care about.

Morningstar's gay logo.
I feel bad for corps who don't care about this nonsense. Now they will be "racists" and "haters" unless they fall in line.

There's so many corporations that are pro LGBTQXYZ, including Chick-fil-A, that it might just be easier to put the companies that aren't celebrating it.

They must adorn their logo doors with rainbow paint so the angel of woke Twitter mobs passes over their house

Has anyone seen this publicly displayed in real life places? I ask because I went to kohls because Amazon screwed up the return. I was fully expecting an onslaught of rainbows and flyers stuffed in my face.

Didn't see a single thing. No flags. No rainbows. No gay people at the door. Not even a paltry kiosk sign or post it note.

This tells me exactly what businesses truly think about it. See, doing those things really matter. Those take effort. Having a lackey change the logo colors in paint and throw it on the server for fake support is weak sauce.

When the local VFD has a support event for something, do they change logos on the ESD page? No. They organize a real event and put it all over town. Hard copies. Hard support. With stuff to back it up.

less virtue signaling, more vice signaling.

Thays funny. Don't see these corporations changing their logos to camo

Was it here or somewhere what that someone went and find several companies who's Pride logos only lasted 1 day on LinkedIn or Twitter.

Something has changed. There's free speech on Twitter and the bots are largely gone. Without those some of these logos aren't as popular as the used to think they were.

Management of companies doing this should have to EAD to prove solidarity.

That's great. Is Military Appreciation Month promoted so prominently that anyone stepping into a store or restaurant is aware of it?

Yeah, apparently it's May (see nai06's post above).

Help me out here. Are you upset that the military does not get a month? Or are you upset that LGBTQ folks do get a month and that private companies recognize it? Why didn't Elon make Twitter do it?

It's getting a little difficult to track conservative outrage these days, since y'all get just as triggered as liberals did years ago, which was derided as overdramatic.

If it was so important, I'm sure there was a thread on this board of all places celebrating Military Appreciation Month.

I'll help you out, there wasn't one. On June first there was however a thread lamenting how nobody celebrated Military Appreciation Month.

If it's important to you, you should celebrate and invite others to do the same.
Cinco Ranch Aggie

It's not important to me personally as all of those in my family who served have passed away.

I'm simply pointing out that this is not a well known celebratory month for the typical citizen as opposed to the in-your-face-24-7 regarding the current month of June.

Right on time, Dallas City Council goes nuts.

Quote:

An internal City of Dallas "gender transition" toolkit requires all public employees to use a transitioning person's preferred pronouns regardless of personal beliefs.

The document, obtained by The Dallas Express via an open records request, lays out the protocols and procedures adopted by the City to "support an inclusive and productive workplace environment."

Officially titled "Workplace Gender Transition Protocols & FAQ," the document was lauded by City staff during a recent City Council committee meeting, with Human Resources Director Nina Arias telling council members, "I would like to highlight our gender transitioning information toolkit," as a part of Dallas' efforts to improve "recruitment and retention."

The toolkit defines transitioning as "[t]he process of changing one's gender from the sex assigned at birth to one's gender identity."

"There are many ways to transition," it continues. "A transition can be social, legal, and/or medical. Transition may include 'coming out' (telling family, friends, and coworkers), changing the name and/or sex on legal documents, and/or accessing medical treatment such as hormones and/or surgery."
City employees, the document explains, "are expected to respectfully use the transitioning employee's preferred name and pronouns, regardless of whether or not they 'believe in,' approve of, or accept an individual's right to be transgender or undergo a gender transition."

"An employee has the right to be addressed by the name and pronoun of their choice," the toolkit adds. "Our addressing the employee by their chosen pronoun is a sign of respect for them as an individual."

I'm not upset. Just comment on there being a military month yet seemingly so few that know about it.

Literally never heard of it before.

Corporations can do what they want. They don't get any esg point for participating in military month I'd bet.

Was just at Universal Orlando for four days and I'm telling you I can't recall seeing one thing displayed for pride month. Granted, it's not Disney and I'm sure they're gayed up per the norm but Universal was all about super heroes, dinosaurs, other stuff that boys mainly like, and good ole capitalism.

I admit I was kind of shocked.

All of those days are fine because military days do not celebrate sexual deviancy and gender mutilation. So not the same thing anyways.
