Musk is right. If it weren't for the Supreme Court putting a stop to Biden's OSHA mandate last January, there would have been a ton of people either forced to take the shot or find themselves looking for new employment. The powers that be were preaching fear and certain death and blaming it on those that were showing the ability to think independently and wanted to decide for themselves and their families.

As it was, they struck down the proposed mandate and what do you know? Covid was pretty much a bad memory 6 months later.

It should be a lesson to all of the heavy handedness of the federal government, particularly when Democrats are running the show, and a reminder that many of the so called experts are as much control freaks that get off on their power trips as much as the politicians.

And as far as all the talking heads and late night jacka****, they're just mean, vitriolic, know-nothings that parrot whatever talking points their masters feed them.

Oh there was a huge dust up on here about the concept of viral interference and the abrupt and unexplained. disappearance of the flu during covid.

Somebody posted the data from the cdc that showed flu numbers dropping off the map.

People raged and and a lot of posts got nuked.

Never seen hide-nor-hair of a follow up on this issue, or any issue related to covid. Seems like the strategy now is pretend like noting ever happened and hope everyone forgets.

Yes, but I'd like to think that future pandemic events will be met with scorn and doubt. I think very few will be willing to take the grief that COVID introduced again

Further, we don't trust "professionals" in the medical industry. unless there are people dropping dead before our eyes (outside of the hospitals which killed numerous people who should be alive today) we will never submit to another pandemic.

Viral interference is a real phenomenon that has happened many times throughout history with one virus dominating others. Long before covid, and long before any need to cover things up. Most of the data I read about it comes from right leaning data scientists. Not sure why so many on the right think it's some kind of conspiracy when it's the right wing data scientists that were explaining this while it happened.

Lots of questions marks and things to dissect regarding covid, trusting the medical community, etc., But this isn't really one.
