ChatGPT is not "AI". its a chat bot, and a ******ed one programmed by ******ed leftists who think they are clever.

This is the truth. I used it once and was unimpressed. Played 20 questions and it couldn't guess I was thinking JFK after 50 questions. This isn't AI. This is a dumb robot querying predefined answers.

Uhh, no. It's a probabilistic text generator that determines the next most logical word. Which means that it is going to regurgitate the most commonly written about beliefs and ideas.

Its utility is not in answering pop culture questions. It has minor utility in answering technical questions, and it's biggest utility is going to be commoditizing software development.

It's present threat is not that it's going to be Skynet taking over our systems, but rather through bad actors utilizing its ability to generate false information and further dissolve our shared reality.

I don't think you guys understand how this works. The fact that you're talking to it as if it's a person, and blaming it….is quite interesting.

Please enlighten us on how "this works". It's a r3tarded chat bot that only satiates leftist talking points and becomes hilariously confused when confronted by logic and facts. Like everything "left" its a complete ****ing joke.

Also, why do so many people not understand it's data gathering is up to 2021. If you ask it about something from a month ago, then it's not going to be able to discuss it.

I beg to differ. I haven't seen any evidence it's capable of that.

The examples I have seen have been to produce UX layouts very quickly or convert code from one language to another language is mind blowing. It may not be 100%, but if it is 90%, it could really make moving from one platform to another much simpler, faster, and cheaper.

Example:

I barely write my emails anymore.

It works.
I'm not sure if people genuinely believe someone is going to say, "Wow, if some people say I'm a moron for not believing this, it clearly must be true."

It's not much a persuasive argument. It really just sounds like a bunch of miniature dachshunds barking because the first one one barked when it thought it heard something.

It also can answer a lot of "what is the law" questions you would otherwise ask a lawyer.

I saw where someone asked it a question about a landlord in Texas and it correctly cited the Texas Property Code in its response.

Someone should ask ChatGPT if it is intelligent enough to realize that it's being programmed to lie?

It really is going to completely change the software industry. Before too long it will be a more important skill to just know how to tell the software what you want it to be

Elon does a great breakdown in his interview with Tucker.

TLDW… AI is better and amazing but not anywhere near where it could be, and it needs a kill switch now.

ChatGPT, based in SF, directed heavily by Page, and beholden by Microsoft, reflects its overlords as you would expect.

It's not going to change a ******* thing other than convincing more lazy arse millennials they are the secret to the future.

I asked it about killing Mesquite brush and it said it could not encourage the killing of any living organism. I changed "killing" to "eradicating" and it said it didn't know and to ask an extension agent.

I then asked how much of climate change was caused by humans and it suddenly had an "unknown error".

Am I doing this right?

There's a ton of online info from Aggie Extension Agents etc. on the topic...surprised it couldn't somehow copy/paste one.

This **** is faker than COVID. There is no AI, it's just purely policing of wrong-think.

The AI spin is purely just trying to convince you why they're smarter than you and should shut up.

Garbage, all around.

Heh? You saying ChatGPT is not connected to the Internet?

Is it a punch card machine or an unplugged Zoltar fortune telling device?

It's a probabilistic text generator under most circumstances, and the code it can generate is mind-blowing.

However, once you ask it political/social questions it reverts to chatbot mode and will engage some extreme exceptions rules and lots of pre-programmed scripts

I would be very careful about that. I've asked it some questions specific to my practice and it's never been close to right.

I love Chat GPT, If you are using it to ask questions about politics and other world news then you are not using it for what it is designed for.

I use it to solve optimization and linear regression problems, it's answered them correctly every time. Stuff that used to take me 20min now only takes 2.

If I have a question on how to write/use an excel formula, it tells me exactly how to create it and gives an example.

If I need to write a detailed email with good wording and I can't come up with a good one on my own, Chat GPT can help me with that too.

When you use it right, it's a powerful tool.
