"All of the other states that have passed the legislation have done so with religious protections. Michigan wants to be different. They want to be an outlier. And we don't understand why of the other 22 states [that] have passed it, why Michigan can't include the language," the CAIR staffer added.

The alphabet soup mafia has the highest victim quotient so Muslims can join the rest of the groups the Democrats no longer have a need for.

The alphabet groups lost any chance they had to be at the top, when they decided to blame the NRA for the Pulse massacre instead of, you know, the actual Islamic zealot.

Alphabet groups are NPCs who will never switch away from the Democrat party no matter how much they are played.
There is a chance that Muslims will switch, especially if you have someone like DeSantis.
My bet is on CAIR.

DNC is desperately trying to come up with spin about how Islam has actually always supported homosexuality and that this brand new, radical Islam that doesn't support homosexuality is the fault of Republicans and White Supremacy!

This looks to be an explosive situation in Meatchicken.

Let's see if I can summarize the situation and make a couple of predictions:

1. Dems openly court Muslims into the party while ignoring their very obvious opposition to all things LGBTQ++
2. Muslim opposition to LGBTQ++ becomes so openly vocal that the dems can no longer ignore it or hide it from the public
3. Dems begin to distance themselves from Muslim support and so they begin to migrate to the Republican party

Predictions:

1. Dems ramp up the anti-hate legislation and accuse the Republicans of recruiting Muslims with their common ground of LGBTQ++ hatred and oppression.
2. The general voting public falls for it

Just sitting here sipping coffee without a google search I can only think of Singapore Malaysia.
All the countries that end in "stan" are poor.

I'm not talking about 'majority muslim' as those by definition wind up being totalitarian states, but in 'western' democracies. Again, Australia, Michigan, Canada, Denmark, Germany, London, India etc. you name it and they wind up closely aligned with the political left.

Some of it is due to anti-semitism etc. in the progressive ranks worldwide, but it is more than that. Islam is more than simply a religion, and it's political manifestations within western/nonmuslim countries are legion as damaging toward the parent. I once read that once a country surpasses something like 20 percent muslim, it is largely too late for it to be saved democratically.

Yes, unless muslim countries wind up with natural resource wealth, they wind up poor eventually, and ruled by a wealthy elite/ruling class, which again appeals to/sounds great to the socialists/communists/left/progressives.
