Granted there's different forms of dementia/Alzheimer's, and they progress differently. She doesn't have the cognitive range that he does depending on the day. He goes from lost and shuffling to stumbling through a SOTU. Maybe the media and editors help goal tend.

My 82 yr. old mother with Alzheimer's, COPD, and a lifelong smoker almost always get a higher O2 saturation level higher than me. She usually hits above 97.
