God, I thought these crooks had some ethics, even though they were annoying and disruptive all the time.

Now I think even the cops were just actors.

Yesterday I was part of a group that peacefully protested the expansion of a coal mine in Germany. We were kettled by police and then detained but were let go later that evening.

In 20 years her "Where are they now" story is going to be must watch tv.

The vast majority of these protest arrests are staged for the cameras. In DC they are usually prearranged, including coordinating with the police, who will be arrested and at what time. Protest groups have volunteers for being arrested.

All for the cameras and to allow the compliant left leaning press to push the agenda.

This from my personal knowledge and experience; not as a protester though.

lighten up francis. Coordination allows the protesters to get what they want, attention, while mitigating risk for the protesters and the police. Keeps the protests from becoming riots.

Two protests that became riots, had no prior coordination. The Jan 6th riots, didn't work out well for anyone, and the Lafayette Square riots, where the rioters got what they wanted and a bunch of cops ended up hospitalized and there was a few millions of dollars worth of damage.

Although I was active in the summer riots, I was on standby for Jan 6th. I know a bunch of officers in the DC area, have worked with a bunch of agencies and know how the protests operate, but I don't go arresting protesters or other misdemeanor stuff.
