This is the kind of tone deaf that makes the GOP-e fit for the Whiggian rubbish heap. Connect this with McConnell seeming to work as hard as Schumer in getting some boondoggle even more billions (or was it trillion?) omnibus in the lame dusk -- as if he was a Democrat.

Just astonishing.

As for Pelosi, there are things to praise about her. You can admire her in the way of the earlier in the century pre-train wreck Putin could be and some other despots: seeming to know just how to get things done for their worldview. But that's it.

I think the Globetrotters/ Generals comparison (was it Limbaugh's?) for DNC/GOP is more true than any realize. Ours is not that like its British counterparts which really do seem to shift gears when they change. Or at least used to. Who knows.
