I have heard on talk radio this this kind contamination was BS and fake.

Recently I learned that when people come back after Narcan they can be violent.
I knew they would probably barf but getting aggressive afterwards was new for me.

Quote:

The incident, which has not been fully explained by cops, comes after experts reassured the public a person cannot overdose on fentanyl just by touching it.

So, did she get too much from touching it or not? This statement is counter to the rest of the article.

48 hour rule on this one but doing some quick searching is that most experts "do not expect, do not think, think its low risk, etc.", doesn't make me feel good about it not causing an OD.

We allow China to help the cartels import and/or make fentanyl type drugs yet we do nothing about it. We knew all of the cave tunnels in Afghanistan and drug compounds but know or ignore all of it in Mexico. Such a backwards world.

Neighbor is former DEA, he said it is one crooked agency which is why he got out and just became a local officer.

Next video on that link was a rookie deputy in San Diego. He opened the back of a jeep that was contaminated with fentanyl. Supervising officer says "hey you are too close, need to back away." Within a minute the deputy just collapses. Very similar scene to this one in FL.

It didn't look like he even touched anything. Apparently just wind passing through the vehicle was enough to put particles in the air that the deputy inhaled.

Covid showed us the value of experts and their opinions.

And much of the DailyFail article is quoting "experts" saying it cannot happen just by touching it, which is complete bunk.

My thought is if there is a pressure change causing the drug to release out of the vehicle towards the cop wouldn't there be enough airborne inside the vehicle to OD those people? Seems this has happened more than once and LEOs need to figure out why it is happening. If opening a vehicle causes a potent dose to be released the police need to change their procedures for stops.

That was the purpose of my first response, too many uncertain responses by them for me to trust their "opinions".

Facilitated by your friendly neighborhood Democrat border policies. A vast massacre of American citizens, and the Dems have helped facilitate it.

I thought of this too. I don't know the answer. Either the hoodrats have better procedures or maybe there was already an OD event at the vehicle that's not on the tape. Can you build up a tolerance to the drug if you are a regular user?

There was a case in CA where a couple guys were hired to clean up an apartment. When one of them didn't show up at home that evening and couldn't be reached on cell phone they went looking for them and found them both dead in the apartment from accidental OD from traces of Fentanyl in the apartment. How did people live in the apartment without getting an OD? It's scary as hell. I dread when some POS purposely or accidentally releases some in a mass crowd like a concert or something. It's bound to happen. The stuff is too readily available and cheap. It should be rated a WMD and Mexico, China, and the cartels should be dealt with accordingly.
