If you think I am a liberal, you are incorrect. Assume sarcasm on my part. Sorry if something I post has already been posted. Just the way it is!!

Not to get into generational identity politics, but the way is for gen xers to be at the helm. We have geriatrics leading both parties... early boomers and silent generation who need to ****ing retire and move over for someone looking out for the future and not beholden to a rapidly aging age cohort.

No, Lee Zeldin is a much better choice. RNC is a deep politics job that involves getting organized and aligning the groups to fight together. Zeldin was able to show the way to overcome ballot harvesting in NY and knows how to win, damn near pulled off a miracle in NY and he got a bunch of House seats to flip because of his efforts. He knows how the system works and he is liked by both sides of the Party.

Lindell would be a disaster, it is not a job for a political outsider that has a tendency to say stupid things and went all in on 2020 election fraud that he never could deliver on. A guy like Lindell would turn off at least 30% of the Party Day 1. He's not someone who is going to get big money donors to line up and give. Lindell has shown he is very generous with his money but that's not nearly enough, especially because he doesn't have Elon Musk type money, he's worth about $50 mill which is great but not even a blip in the big boy game.

This is what Lindell should do:

1) sell pillows
2) shut the **** up

2 step process to the RNC being successful.

Agreed. You need someone with unparalleled organizational capability and strong ties. Lindell would screw all of that up.

Normally I'd be laughing at this, and 9 times out of 10 this response would have earned a "shut it down, folks" post.

Normally.

However, this is a very important and serious deal. As such, Aggie93s post on Zeldin for RNC Chair is exactly the sort of reasoning that is needed at this juncture.

I'm the first guy to lament the uniparty ****around that we the people have been getting for the last 20 years at least. But if there's even a HOPE of actually restoring trust in the ballot box, this is the way.

Ronna McDaniel turns off 75-% of the GOP base on day 1. We need to exterminate any vestige of the Romney/Bush/McConnell wing of the GOP.

Zeldin showed you can beat the Dems at their own game. If you look in depth it's less about outright cheating as it is maximizing the shady practices available. The way you do that is through serious funding, organization, and understanding it is just as important to make sure to get every possible vote vs messaging.

Once you have control you can make reforms but simply screaming about cheating and fraud until those laws are changed just results in losing.

Agree but Lindell would a actually be worse. I hate McDaniel but she at least knows how to raise money and most people don't even know who she is. Lindell is someone that will turn off the big money donors and you need the big money donors.

Zeldin is the man. He can unite the clans.

Run mostly "minorities." Negates much of the lefts most powerful lie.

Why does someone want to be a politician anyway? It's like wanting to be a hollywood star or a rockstar. If you really want to do good, go be a chief of staff for a politician and do the real work (and have greater overall influence) without the "star" status.

In Mike's case, it's just to bring more eyes to his pillow biz.

His "technology symposium" that he hosted post the election was RIDDLED with shameless promotions for MyPillow. Seriously. It was a hilarious combo of off the deep end conspiracy and used car sales lot.

Mike wants more air time bc he's used up his current 2 min of fame

I can appreciate someone who gets clean and makes a ton of money selling foam pillows. But anyone that thinks he should be in a leadership position for a political party needs their head examined. He's said for two years now that he's going to preset his evidence, and he never does. I liken him to The Reasonableists from Parks and Rec who predict Zorp is going to destroy the planet, only to find they read the calendar wrong.

Hail Zorp.
