What's telling is that despite all of the wailing and gnashing of teeth, I have yet to see a single, cogent reason why Elon taking over Twitter is such an abomination.

Twitter has been a lot more fun since he's been at the helm, and shareholders were paid a premium.

As long as SpaceX continues apace I'm happy. He's loved trolling folks on Twitter forever. Who am I to begrudge him buying the company on a whim and playing with it. He could afford it, and a guy has to have hobbies.

ETA: Elon said they'd still moderate hate speech, and the difficulty he's had moderating (impersonators) has been part of the fun.
