The party requesting a recount has to pay for it. I doubt Fritsch has the funds and the DNC won't do it if it won't affect the balance of power in the House.

That fact she won by 500 votes is pretty sad where she lives. She clearly isn't popular in a very red district. Glad we got the seat but something is wrong for it to have even been close.

Didn't the DEMs in Colorado gerrymander her district to try to beat her?

Wasn't her district redrawn? Can't remember if that helped or hindered.

It sounds like there has to be a recount even if nobody requests it. Unless Boebert ends up with .51 % or more.

ETA - I am hoping that Boebert wins, but hate the thought of a recount.

frankly, Boebert, Masters, Lake, Bolduc, Mastriano, Cox, Walker, Tudor Dixon were all disasters

it is a GOP +9 District for heavens sake!!

Adam’s 0.16% loss to Boebert, in a district that was drawn to be +9 and +10 GOP, has already made a difference. It’s shown that people are tired of politicians who lack substance and whose main goal is self promotion to draw outraged views.
