Was wondering the same…

there is a black stripe with the rainbow stripes. I believe the reporter is suggesting that support for BLM . The US team also wore the BLM armband and knelt before games in support of BLM in 2020/2021.

Yes, almost, but not quite. As long as our soccer team is championing left wing causes I will not mind so much when they lose. Honestly, it's only soccer, it didn't bother me much when they were pretending to be patriotic and getting embarrassed. They chose to be divisive.

if the soccer teams plays for someone else, let them wear the other colors, whatever they are

The US federal government should then give the team exactly $0.00 of federal money. Whoever they play for, let them pay.

US Soccer is funded largely by corporate sponsorship, youth registrations for their regional and local affiliates (a ripoff btw), television contracts, and share of the gate.

Best thing you can do if you have any connection to soccer in your community is to get your local soccer association to disassociate with US Soccer. AAU is a better alternative.

Ah! Remember the good ole days when people cared about soccer. The kids all played… it was taking over…gonna be the most popular sport in America…yep, 1980.

Then, we all decided nobody had the tolerance to watch a two hour game resulting in a tie nil-to-nil.

This is simply soccer's attempt to be relevant. Sorry! Soccer! Nobody cares!
