I just looked at the Arizona Senate race, and the Libertarian candidate Marc Victor has about 2.2% of the vote, which could be a deciding burden for Masters to overcome.

If I was a Dem, I would spend half of my budget on supporting a Libertarian candidate. Seems like the best return on investment. If running as Rep, I would do the same for a Green or such.

If you are Libertarian truly trying to send a message - lower govt deficit spending and to expand rights/freedom, or whatever the cause is, you are handing power to the other side, who now has 6 years as a Senator to move the Overton's Window to a unimaginable place. You will get less of everything you seek.

Trump knew real change has to come from within one of our two political parties.

Victor dropped out and endorsed Masters. He probably didn't do it early enough though.

All that voting for Libertarian candidates tends to accomplish is to get Democrats elected. It hurt Walker in Georgia as well.

Thank you, I didn't follow closely.

I agree wholeheartedly on the timing.

Maybe...just maybe....the GOP should choose better candidates so that a rounding error isn't the difference between a W or an L

So you would rather live under socialism than a RINO in power? Because thats what voting libertarian is

I'm libertarian and learnt this lesson a long time ago. I hope the libertarians that elected democrats enjoy the democrats eroding their rights

Yes, it's always the GOPs fault. Never mind the worthless Libertarian candidates that are pure ***** Yet people vote for them out of allegiance to an ideology.

You assume that the libertarian vote would go to the R. Not a great assumption.

Not if their vote ends up having the worst outcome elected. I guess if you preferred the Dem, then why not. But if you want more rights and smaller Govt, then you are way worse off. Seems beyond obvious.

Maybe, just maybe you can get off your sanctimonious high horse and realize we live in a two party nation and all your "statement" vote does is further us more into the socialist abyss. Congrats on your convictions though.

He needed to drop out before he was on the ballot to make a difference.

Electing Dems is the only accomplishment of the libertarian party. Libertarians always tell us how smart and ideologically pure they are, so I assume they know what they're doing.

And I'll say that the republicans are leaderless and venal. They are in it for themselves. They have no identity, other than not democrat. I dislike what the progressive wing of the Democratic Party stands for, but at least they stand for something.

I'll go back to voting and donating republican when they become small government conservatives versus whatever they are now.

Good grief, Kari Lake has a real shot of making up the difference. Would sure be nice for Masters to have that margin instead.

Who would just absolutely dominate in a state like Arizona? Please be specific. Its the land of McCain. Someone like him?

Why do you hate Capitalism so much?

The Libertarian Party is easily the most pro-Capitalist political party in the US.

It's also the only party that is actually in favor of small, limited government.

Libertarians should be strung up by their Tevas and sent to Bolivia.

They're Rino-lites whose sole purpose is to distract voters who'd normally vote against Democrats.

If you want me to vote for republicans, put some actual fiscal conservatives up there. Not liers who just claim to be fiscal conservatives when running for office and are pigs at the trough the rest of the time.

??? Yikes, you are a strange one. I started the thread, super genius. I am asking if any of the virtue filled votes, actually accomplish anything. If not, then why in the hell waste votes to elect socialists.
